Are you a snowbird who flees the 'burgh when the first flakes fall? Or do you visit your out-of-town grands whenever possible? Perhaps you received a long-term overseas assignment and plan to return to your Pittsburgh home eventually, or you need to sell your home and relocate. Congratulations!
But when you are away, who is checking your home? Who has your keys? Your home is your greatest asset and may be left unprotected. When it is unoccupied it's at risk: frozen pipes may lead to water damage, storms cause structural damage, and unauthorized entry can result in multiple problems. Plus, these are just a few of the potential issues that can occur.
Home Watch Services of Pittsburgh is here to put your worries to rest. We will check your home regularly and work with you to address problems or issues..
What is Home Watch? Home Watch is defined as "a visual inspection of a home or property looking for obvious issues." We started our company after we lived through the frustration and cost of a broken water line and realized how valuable a Home Watch company would have been. In addition to our experience as long time homeowners, we are insured and bonded and are accredited members of the National Home Watch Association.
Our Home Watch professionals look for signs of damage or intrusion to the exterior of homes. They address tell-tale signs that indicate the homeowner is away.
Home watch interior checks include looking for signs of water damage, power outages, HVAC and appliance failures, or other issues.
In addition to the standard services we offer, our Home Watch clients may request additional special services such as contractor oversight, mail forwarding, and inspection coordination with realtors when a house is vacant.
Owners Doug and Jan Toth have been in business as "Home Watch Services of Pittsburgh" since 2015.
